Your State Of Mind Can Make or Break You

Earlier this year, I was at rock bottom. Now, I’m about to hit my personal financial goal by the end of the year.

Has anything around me changed? Not really.

I’m still living in the same house. I’m still using the same laptop (Macbook M2). I’m still wearing the same attire to work—just a T-shirt and shorts.

But as I was walking around my house, deep in thought, I asked myself: what has changed?

And then it hit me—my energy state has changed.

If you’ve studied Chemistry or Physics, you’ve probably come across the concept of activation energy. This is the energy required to start a reaction, to push atoms into a higher state.

And that’s exactly what happened to me. My energy state has shifted dramatically.

At the beginning of the year, I felt like everything was falling apart. My energy was so low that I didn’t want to do anything. I was stuck in a cycle of job rejections that went on for months. It felt like I was moving in slow motion, drained, and unable to break free.

But then, a few opportunities finally came my way. That’s when I decided to put everything I had into my work—with far more intensity and focus than I ever had before.

The momentum began to build, and I never looked back.

I didn’t fully understand how a simple change in my energy state could have such a huge impact on my skills, my mindset, and my career. But it did.

I went from a mindset of “I can’t” to “I can do anything”.

That’s why I’m so passionate about this topic—because it truly changed my life.

Here’s the thing: you don’t need new, external ideas from other people to change your life. The answers are already within you. The key is to tap into your own identity and unlock your potential.

But, I won’t sugarcoat it—it’s hard to do this by yourself.

For me, it took nearly eight months of struggle before things started falling into place. A series of small events slowly led me to the right path.

And while I believe everyone should go through these experiences for themselves, it helps to have guidance—just a few pointers to keep you moving forward when things get tough.

Because here’s the truth: emotions, thoughts, and sensations—they come and go. They’re fleeting, like waves in the ocean. But the real you is the one observing it all, untouched and unchanged.

The next time you feel overwhelmed, take a step back.

Breathe.

You are not your experiences. You are the awareness behind it all.
